Preparation

Sorting.
De-cluttering.
Chucking out.
Donating.
Painting.
Gardening
Garage sale selling.
Packing.

Telling the parents.

That's what's involved on this end of moving, from rural-ish New South Wales to Melbourne.  1000 kilometres away.

A place to live.
Unpacking.
A place to work.
A different life.

There definitely comes a point, when it's time to move on.  Having lived in the coal-oriented Hunter Valley since I was a teenager, the itchy feet and desire for something different cannot be quietened anymore.

The sameness is stifling.
